LEVEL I CERTIFICATION

Every OTZ student is eligible to apply for Level I certification.  The process includes two (2) steps.

  1. Pass a fifty (50) question written exam on the material presented in the OTZ Health Education Systems Physician's Training Manual and on the otzhealthed.com virtual Continuing Education Center learning modules.  A test score of 85% or greater is required to pass the exam.
  2. Personally attend a prescheduled twelve (12) hour CE clinical competency class or series of one-on-one training sessions.  Level I certification is granted when the applicant can demonstrate a command of the clinical application of the OTZ curriculum excluding the OTZ Tension Adjustment.

LEVEL II CERTIFICATION

Level II certification is reserved for doctors (chiropractors, medical doctors, Physical Therapists, PhD's).  Credentials are required for the OTZ application requirement.  Level II certification is a two-step process.

  1. Complete the Level I certification requirements.  Both Level I and Level II certifications can be completed simultaneously.
  2. Personally attend a prescheduled twelve (12) hour CE clinical competency class or series of one-on-one training sessions.  Level II certification is granted when the applicant can demonstrate a command of the clinical application of the OTZ curriculum by submitting video demonstrating a proper OTZ exam, treatment and improvement of two (2) Frozen Shoulder Syndrome cases.

LEVEL III CERTIFICATION

Each applicant seeking Level III certification must achieve and maintain prior levels of certification.  In order to maintain any level of certification each OTZ student must remain enrolled in the virtual Continuing Education Center.  The three (3) requirements to attain Level III certification are as follows:

  1. Complete an accredited post-professional graduate Clinical Neurology Program.
  2. Attain advanced soft tissue training and certification in an OTZ approved soft tissue system (OTZ Muscle Tension Technique, Active Release Technique).
  3. Complete three (3) years of OTZ virtual continuing education.  Return to the OTZ clinical training center at Parker College in Dallas, Texas for advanced clinical competency training.

LEVEL IV CERTIFICATION

Each applicant seeking Level IV certification must achieve and maintain prior levels of certification.  Only one of the following two points are required to attain Level IV certification:

  1. Complete three (3) additional years of OTZ virtual continuing education and return to the OTZ clinical training center at Parker College in Dallas, Texas for advanced clinical competency training.
  2. Achieve the status of OTZ Professional Instructor.

LEVEL V CERTIFICATION

Additional levels can only be achieved over time.  Every three (3) years any Level II or greater Professional Provider can preregister for clinical competence training and elevate their level of Professional Provider certification by one (1) level.

MAINTAINING CERTIFICATION

OTZ Health Education Systems, LLC reserves the right to revoke Professional Provider certification for the following reasons.

  1. Violation of the OTZ Health Education Systems' confidentiality agreement.
  2. Failure to maintain enrollment at the virtual OTZ Continuing Education Center.
  3. Loss of professional license.
  4. Misrepresentation of information given on the OTZ Professional Provider Application.
